To
Explain :
Some 53
Chevy Headlight Bezels are made of brass. these need to be
chromed, which is what I have done, thus the higher $300
price. If I find a bezel that is stainless, has some scratches or
dents, I have these defect repaired and polished by a profession,
thus the $175 pricing. If I find a bezel that is dirty but not
badly scratched or dented, I can polish them myself, thus the $110
pricing.
These
sell fast because no one is making them. I might not always
have the price you might want. but I am always looking and always
buying. So if I do not have what you need today, I might tomorrow. |

Many of these
parking lamp buckets have the screw that holds the stainless
bezel on, broken off inside the female tube nut which is apart of
the bucket. I now have available new remanufactured specialty screws
that are male on one end and female on the other, machined
specifically to fix this problem.

bucket below came to me with broken screws and needed new screws
installed as well as being restored as pictured |

As you can see when comparing
the 1st series wiper trans. to the 2nd series wiper trans they look
identical. The main difference is the length of the cables.
At some point in 1954, GM lengthened the cables 2 3/4 inches.
This was done because GM changed the design of the intermediate
barrel that the cables connect to.
All used wiper transmissions are cleaned,
oiled and operated to make sure they work freely and do not bind. |
