Photo History

On this page you will find pictures of my personal friends cars,  customers cars and most of all a good example of automotive history. What I mean by that is customizing in the traditional form. When customizers like Barris, Winfield and Roth would change the looks of a car and make it look like it should have been made that way in the factory

Please understand I am stuck in a "Time Warp" can't get out of it and I don't care to.

Nothing wrong with a restored beauty but me personally, I can't resist a 50's custom and old fashion channeled Hotrod.

Moonglow

The most famous 54 Chevy ever,

To the left and right we have 10 original pictures of the award winning "Moonglow" one of the most highly sought after and  most widely copied 54 Chevys ever made. It was breathtaking in Pearl White, but was also Blue at one point in its life and with   a scalloped paint job at another time. Moonglow was considered a "Full Custom" in its time. I began life as a 1954 Chevy Sport Coupe. It definitely stands the test of time because below you can see several copies driving today. No other 54 Chevy and very few other customs are as well known.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Moon Glow" is one of those cars that make you go "hummmm"

Below You will see 3 very nice example of "Moon Glow" copies.  Not exact copies but definitely there was an influence.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

To your right is a nice example of a Moonglow clone, in its beginning stages. Being built by a customer and friend of mine Olavi in Finland.

To your right you will see a beautiful example of a 1960 Ford  Custom, on of my favorites

If you did not know, the original "Car Show Rules" said a vehicle was considered a "Full" custom only if it was Chopped, Sectioned or Channeled.  If was not one of these it was a "Semi Custom."

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Pictured to the right is of one of the most famous custom cars in history. Created by George and Sam Barris. Sam being the craftsman and George being the designer, this Chopped Merc surpasses no other.

My kind of Man

The Vette to the right is my Brother-in-law's from NY. Not old, not classic, not antique but how can you not like a Vette
